I am a filmmaker, born and raised in India. In 2021, I moved to England to pursue my passion for film and photography. I focus mostly on writing and directing, although cinematography feels natural to me since I began my art journey as a photographer.

I have worked with musicians, theatre companies and on several film projects. I provide my services to create art as a film director, photographer, gaffer, director of photography and screenwriter.

My comprehension of the realm of film and media is that it encompasses much more than the glitz and glamour of fame. Rather, it is a medium of vulnerability, truth, and stories of identity. From an early stage, I recognized my passion for storytelling, as it is through cinema, theatre, and the arts (both visual and performing) that I have felt heard and understood. My goal is to extend that sense of understanding to my audience, regardless of its size.

Andrei Tarkovsky, a renowned filmmaker, once remarked that "the director's task is to recreate life, its movement, its contradictions, its dynamics and conflicts. It is his duty to reveal every iota of the truth he has seen, even if not everyone finds that truth is acceptable." I share this perspective on cinema and filmmaking, which is not a means of "creation" for me, but rather a way to "represent" something that is universally known, yet refreshingly renewed through its presentation.

In my view, the reason for creating or watching films lies in its social event of empathy. The cinema serves as a large empathy machine that unifies the hearts and emotions of the audience into one singularity of commonality. It binds and conforms us to a single mentality of relief and comfort/discomfort.
